Homage to Hopper

Gas stations, motels, restaurants, theaters, railroads and urban street scenes — Edward Hopper found beauty in their loneliness. Faith Wight pays homage to Hopper in this photograph, on view at Gallery 125’s Point of View, 125 S. Warren St., Trenton.

Point of View will showcase 40 works in varied media  through Feb. 6, 2010.

Ruane Miller, a professor of art at The College of New Jersey, was the juror. Ms. Miller has exhibited her work extensively in national and international solo, group, and juried exhibits.

Gallery hours: Tues.-Fri., noon to 6 p.m., Sat. 11 a.m.-4 p.m. 609-989-9119; http://www.gallery125.com.
