Spotlight on the Teacher

An Arts Council of Princeton Faculty Spotlight exhibition featuring paintings by Cheryl Gross will open  Oct. 1 with a reception  from 5 – 7 p.m.

Cheryl Gross is a painter, illustrator, writer and filmmaker /Flash animator. Born and raised in Brooklyn, she started illustrating and exhibiting at the age of 19. She was an apprentice to Andre Bergier and received her BFA from Pratt Institute. Her work has appeared in numerous films, TV shows, publications, and graces the walls of many corporate and museum collections. In addition to teaching painting classes for the Arts Council of Princeton, she also teaches at Pratt Institute.

The Arts Council’s fall classes begin the week of Sept. 21.  All classes and workshops are held in the Paul Robeson Center for the Arts, the wonderful new Michael Graves designed center in downtown Princeton.; 609-924-8777.
